EX Partners

As the demand for genetics carrying the recognized EX brand and prefix has grown, Express Ranches has followed the lead of it’s founder, Bob Funk, and become an industry innovator relative to the development of a “franchise” approach to seedstock marketing with the formation of the EXG program. Essentially marketing and service agreements, these relationships have provided marketing assistance and technical expertise to like minded seedstock producers, and in turn, have resulted in an additional source of high quality genetics for Express Ranches customers.

The first seedstock producer to enter the EXG program was Marc Rowland with his Rolling R3 Ranch program. Rolling R3 remains an EXG partner to this day and participates in the Big Event Sale on Labor Day, the March bull sale and the October bull sale. Chris McCutchen’s Limestone Angus was the second firm to sign on as an EXG member and after three years in the program developed its own independent marketing program. In 2003, Jim Barksdale enrolled his Riverdale Ranch as an EXG member. Riverdale Ranch is a Limousin program based in West, Mississippi. Finally, the Presnell Plantation of Indiana enrolled their Angus program in 2005 as the latest addition to the EXG program.
